Velammal Institute of Technology is the brainchild of our chairman Shri.M.V.Muthuramalingam, a pioneer in the field of education. The Institution reflects the ideals of its founder and seeks to achieve excellence. Established in 2008 by Velammal Educational Trust, it has been approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. The Institution offers seven undergraduate courses in Engineering & Technology, with state-of-the-art laboratories, a well-stocked library, and the best computing facilities.
The Institution has consistently maintained a top-10 rank among Anna University-affiliated colleges in academics.
